The DaySpring Communication Guide was created to streamline internal communication in a fun way. I researched best practices for this course, created the content, and wrote this book for all DaySpring Employees. As part of our internal communication strategy, I decided to write with a tone that makes people laugh, holds them accountable to change, and empowers them to excellence.
Dress codes are never popular, but DaySpring had an extremely unpopular and strict dress code. When it was time for a change, we had to convince leadership that employees wouldn't go too far with a relaxed dress code. Also, my boss wanted to manage the internal communication to change the conversation from negative to positive. I volunteered to rewrite our new dress code in a way that would satisfy all the demands of this culture change. Two years later, we haven't had one dress code violation.
